Each and every vent within the Purple Vents biome is a source of essentially unlimited power. Although there are plenty of perks to living in this area, you’ll have to deal with the screams of creatures and, most terrifyingly, the jaws of the leviathan who lives there. The aptly named Purple Vents are one of the most rewarding, yet most dangerous areas to build a base in. You may want to put large rooms on the coral itself, then bridge across each one to another with glass tubes, allowing you a great view of the depths below. Descend and turn around and follow the right tunnel until you reach the Inactive Lava Zone. Follow that passage until you reach the large drop and brine falls.

Right leads toward the Disease Research Facility, which is great for new players trying to understand the lore, but other than that serves no important purpose. Straight and up leads to the Ghost Forest which leads out of the Lost River. Now that you're in the bone field continue following the left wall until you reach this small skeletonįollow that left and down until you reach the Junction which looks likeįrom there you have 3 ways to go. These are two methods on traveling through the Lost River and Lava Zones. It's not 100% finished, but it's still more functional than this guide.
